Our parish family will commemorate the lives of our belove
d dead at the annual Remembrance Mass on Thursday, Nov. 5th, at 7.30p.m.
The Memorial Mass will include a solemn reading of the names of all those whose loss our parish has mourned in the past two years and everyone present will be invited to bring a candle forward and place it in the sanctuary to remember all our loved ones who have died.
This well attended liturgy allows us once again to mourn our loss with others who are also grieving. Together we look with hope to what our loved ones have gained and seek strength and comfort as we continue our own journey.
Family members of those parishioners who have died in the past year are invited to bring photographs or remembrance cards of their beloved deceased and place on the notice board in the sanctuary which will remain until the end of November.
In addition, the souls of the faithful departed will be remembered at all Masses celebrated in the month of November. Envelopes may be found at the entrances to the church and these can be placed in the box in the sanctuary.
