By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certain devotion. The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary, one of the best known of all Catholic devotions. October includes the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary (October 7). The best way to celebrate the month is, of course, to pray the Rosary.
Fr. Patrick Peyton, CSC, known as ‘The Rosary Priest’ for organising Rosary
rallies in key cities of the world said “The family that prays together stays together”, and “A world at prayer is a world at peace.”
Let’s all encourage each other during this month of October to get the routine of the daily Rosary firmly established in our lives and in our homes.
The Rosary is recited every Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings after mass in the St. Mochumma room, praying for priests and and an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
