All are invited on the 9th June at 7pm in the St Mochumma Room in the Church to hear a talk by Sr Margaret Rose McSparran and Sr Anne Harnett in the Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary on Caring for Our Common Home: The Gifts and the Challenges.

Four years on from the publication of Laudato Si, the challenge of “Caring for our Common Home” has become more urgent.

Given the universal nature of our common home, Francis makes it clear that the encyclical is addressed to not  only members of the Church but is a vehicle to “enter into dialogue” with all people who are “united by the same concern” [3, 7].

The evening’s talk will explore: What kind of world do we want to leave to those who come after us? How can we really love and respect God’s Creation? How can we take the message of Laudato Si into our hearts, our homes, our parish and our community?
