St Joseph’s Youth Club will not be able to open in September for the 2012/2013 year as not enough parents attended the meeting on 17th September.
Parent volunteers are required for one and a half hours on a Friday evening on a rota basis every 3 weeks, for both Junior Session (P7,Year 8 ) and Senior Session (Year 9+).
These rotas need to be filled for the youth club to run every Friday and the number of parents committing to helping out will also dictate the number of young people who can be registered.
If you have a child who wishes to attend the Youth Club and want to support the youth of the parish you are invited to a Youth Club Information Meeting in the Ivanhoe Inn at 7.00pm on Sunday 30th September.
The Youth Club will not be able to re-open if it does not have sufficient parental support.
